The Legends of Steel Guitar concert series began in 2011 as one of the features for Mele Mei, a month long celebration of music in Waikīkī and surrounding areas where musicians share some of the finest live music in the State of Hawaiʻi.

With a great turnout for our inaugural and second concerts, many of the original players of steel guitar were honored.
